Why You Won't See a Pixotope Booth This Year | Pixotope

Written by Pixotope | Sep 10, 2025 1:06:30 PM

We've noticed a few raised eyebrows about our absence from the IBC show floor this year. Some colleagues have gently wondered if everything's alright, reading between the lines of our missing booth number. It's a fair question, and we appreciate the concern.

The truth is, we might be a little different. While others are designing booth layouts, we're usually deep in code reviews or on calls with customers about their next production.
At Pixotope, we’re proud that more than 3/4 of our resources go into R&D and customer success, not because we think trade shows don't matter, but because we believe solving technical challenges and seeing our technology work in the real world is the best way to prove ourselves.

What We're Doing Instead

Right now, we're launching some of the biggest projects in our company's history. These are massive productions happening across multiple continents, and each one needs our best people working on them. You can't really demo this stuff at a booth. It's too complex, too specific, too... real.

Our customers know the difference between a canned demo and a live production that has to work every single day. So that's where we've put our money and our people. In control rooms, in studios, on-set.  Ensuring that everything works when it absolutely has to.

We're Still There, Just Differently

Our team will be all over IBC. Walking the floor, sitting in on panels, having conversations. You can find us featured at the HP booth 7.B24 and XD Motion 12.B41 booths with our channel partners, and you can meet with us to talk about what we've been building and what you want to achieve.

The good conversations at trade shows never happen at the booth anyway. They happen over coffee, in random encounters by the overpriced and undersized coffees stand, at whatever bar everyone discovers on day two. Without booth duty, we can have more of those conversations. The real ones, where people tell you what's keeping them up at night and what they wish existed.

Our Peculiar Logic

Some companies count booth visitors. We count productions delivered. Some invest in beautiful temporary structures. We put that money into solving the problem you emailed us about last month. We are also getting people together in the evenings. Nothing formal. Just broadcasters and production folks having a drink and talking about where everything headed. No decks, no pitches. Just people who understand this world to compare notes and exchange stories.

If you're at IBC and want to talk, reach out. We'd rather spend an hour on your specific project than repeat the same booth demo all day.

Coffee, lunch, a quick chat between sessions. Whatever works.

The best evidence of our technology working isn't in an exhibition center. It's in your studio, in your workflow, making previously impossible creative, possible. That's what we care about, even if it makes us the odd ones out on the show floor.
